Get Help Paying for Internet
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a new long-term program created to replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP), effective December 31st, 2021. The EBBP was designed to help households struggling to pay for internet during the pandemic. Now, investment in broadband affordability through the ACP will help ensure we can afford the connections we need for work, school, health care and more for a long time.
This benefit is a discount of up to $30 per month toward broadband services for eligible
households and up to $75 per month for households on Tribal lands. Eligible households
can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer,
or tablet from participating providers if they contribute $10-$50 toward the purchase price.
There is a limit on one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.
Your household is eligible if:
- Your child or dependent already receives a Lifeline benefit or;
- You have an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or;
- You or your child or dependent participate in certain government assistance
programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, or other programs
